The Baby College, a program of HCZ, is seeking a Part Time Instructor with facilitation experience working with an adult population who are care givers (newborn - 3 years old).
Position Summary:
It is our goal to provide these adults with both a range of information and the support necessary to raise happy and healthy children who enter school ready and eager to learn.
This position will primarily be to facilitate a parental group in an early childhood parenting program. They will be expected to execute lesson plans explaining best parenting strategies (i.e. the Touchpoint philosophy, amongst others) to the adult group under their instruction.
Qualification, Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; College level education in Early Childhood Development, Sociology or Psychology preferred
- Must be able to multitask and appreciates that the entire department is based upon cooperation, teamwork and a client comes first mentality
- Bi-lingual applicants are encouraged to apply (English / French or English / Spanish)
- At least 1 year experience group facilitation with adults
- Must be able to execute and deliver HCZ's established lesson plan
- Must be available to work Saturdays and evenings
