The Beacons annually serve over 5,000 children and adults in Community Boards #7 and #10. The curriculum for young people is designed to serve youth between the ages of five and twenty-one. HCZ's Beacons serve adults who are primarily the parents of youth who attend the program but who also include single adults and parents who walk in for services.
Countee Cullen primarily services young people in Central Harlem that attend P.S. 194. This population is predominately African-American. BTW serves predominately Latino children from Manhattan's Upper West Side (low 80's to 125th Street) 'feeder' elementary schools and Junior High School (JHS) 54.
