National Town Hall on Ed Reform
HCZ's Geoffrey Canada was part of a national town hall on education held in Washington, D.C., joining New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, Senator Michael Bennet, Congressman George Miller and Deputy Secretary of Education Anthony Miller and moderator Jessica Yellin of CNN. The panel discussion begins at about the 15:00 mark.
Geoffrey Canada named to TIME 100
HCZ's Geoffrey Canada was named to Time Magazine's list of the 100 most influential people in the world. The magazine has an article written by US Secretary of Education Arne Duncan and its website has the video below about our work.
New school building and community center
