4,000 gather for HCZ Peace March

Over 4,000 children, families and staff marched through Central Harlem for the 16th annual HCZ Peace March on August 11th. After marching, everyone gathered at the 143rd Street Armory to watch performances from our children and to take a moment to remember loved ones lost. See a slideshow.

Update: Restore Funding to Promise Neighborhoods!

The Senate and House have both proposed funding Promise Neighborhoods program next year at levels far below President Obama's proposed $210 million.

Our collective voices are very strong! Meet with Congress while they are on recess and send them the message "Children deserve Promise Neighborhoods funded at $210 million!"
